IT’S TIME TO FLOURISH!

Flourish For Schools

The Flourish Movement program has been so incredibly successful that many Principals asked us how they could take Flourish back to their schools and their staff.

* Please note that, at the moment, this program is only available to school Leaders who have completed The Flourish Movement program.

Well, you asked, we created it!

Flourish for Schools is an online program, designed for the entire school staff, that takes all the learnings from The Flourish Movement and customises it to suit teaching and administration staff.

Features of the program

Structure of the program

The program consists of 4 modules each broken into 4 parts. Each part consists of:

  • Information Videos

  • Diagnostics

  • Handouts

  • Action plans

It also comes with a facilitators kit which includes scripts for the facilitator that they can follow so they don’t have to spend time prepping for the program. It gives the facilitator a step by step guide to follow.

How do I run Flourish for Schools?

One of the greatest features of this program is that it gives you the time and flexibility to choose how and how fast your school completes the program.

But just to help you, here are a few examples of how other School Leaders are delivering Flourish for Schools:

  • 4 Full PD days throughout the year – 1 module per day.

  • 8 Half days (using both PD days and smaller staff meetings)

  • Every 2 weeks, at the staff meeting, they go through one part of each module (16 parts in total)

Research

At the beginning of the program your staff will be asked to complete an online survey (designed and analysed by a researcher from Deakin University). We will then produce a report to you with the overall results from your school and benchmark them against the other schools going through the program (please note that for ethical and privacy reasons, only collective results are shared with you, no individual data will be shared). The report will allow you to identify the areas where your school is exceeding and which areas of improvement you should focus on. At the end of the program, they’ll redo the survey and once again a report with the results will be provided.

Why is it so important for you, as a leader, to do a program like this with your staff?

One of the biggest challenges with online programs is that the majority of them sit idle and no one engages with them. Dr Adam Fraser and Deakin University studied what made an online program successful. Using that data, Adam and his team developed the ‘Alliance Method’, which turns online programs into an experience that strengthens and connects a team. The ‘Alliance Method’ sees the entire team go through the program together, with their leader as the guide and facilitator (don’t worry we make the experience easy for leaders with scripts, videos, and diagnostics). This model not only builds the capability of the leader but also improves the culture and wellbeing of the group.

The data doesn’t lie!

Leaders that used this method are seeing an increase in the level of trust in teams by 160% and how supportive team members felt their culture was by 73.8%.
